French Engraved Coconut Shell "Charles XII Roi de Suede" (Charles the 12th king of sweden)
The engraved shows three images or scenes.
One is of Charles XII, 17 June 1682 – 30 November 1718) who was the King ofSweden from 1697 to 1718. He belonged to the House of Palatinate-Zweibrücken, a branch line of the House of Wittelsbach. He assumed power, after a seven-month caretaker government, at the age of fifteen.(wikipedia)
The second images depicts "Ceres" who was a goddess of agriculture, grain crops, fertility and motherly relationships in ancient Greece.
While the third, shows Themis which is ancient Greek Titaness. She is described as "of good counsel", and is the personificationof divine order, law, natural law and custom. Themis means "divine law" rather than human ordinance, literally "that which is put in place", compared with títhēmi (τίθημι), meaning "to put".
