Presenting an elongated Octagonal Crystal and Repousse Metal perfume/scent bottle.

Date of Manufacture: circa 1850's

Measuring 10 inches (25.5 cm) long and 2 inches (5 cm) wide at the “neck” of the bottle, the crystal is covered by repousse metal forming convivial outdoor scenes.

Marks: The metal shows no visible silversmith marks.

Condition:
The flip top round cover shows a tiny, bare visible to the human eye denture very near the hinge, most likely caused by laying the piece flat in a vanity table.
Two tiny pieces of metal are missing from the fragile foliage of the convivial scene, again, barely noticeable. The rest of the metal, to the bottom of the tapered perfume/scent bottle is mint.
The crystal is in pristine perfect condition.

This piece was acquired at a public auction in Paris, France in 2011.
