The boxes and counters all bear a card-suit and the counters are variously mumbered.
There are ten counters with some variation in the numbers represented - suggesting that there may originally have been twelve or perhaps even thirteen counters in each box. One counter has a chip. These are superb quality boxes and counters probably made to order for a particular game in vogue at the time and very rare.
