An Anglo-Ceylonese coromandel work box, 19th century, of rectangular form with rippled moulded sides, a concentric panel intricately inlaid with foliage pattern to the inside of the metal hinged lid, detailed with black and red lacquer, one layer of the compartment shelf inside.
